At Freyung Hospital and Weiden Medical Center, I offer a wide spectrum of plastic, aesthetic, and lymphatic surgery.
My work covers a broad range of procedures, including reconstructive surgery with a special focus on lymphatic and breast surgery. In addition, my services include aesthetic procedures such as body contouring and facelifts.
This breadth of expertise allows me to address the individual needs of my patients while applying innovative surgical approaches to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Lymph node transplantation involves removing healthy lymph node tissue, along with its artery and vein, from one part of the body and transferring it to an area affected by lymphedema. The lymph nodes are then reconnected to the circulatory system in their new location. Common transplant sites include the armpit or groin region.
By reconnecting healthy lymph nodes, lymphatic drainage is restored, helping to prevent the development of further swelling. This procedure is performed as an inpatient surgery. After the operation, additional measures such as elevating the affected area and/or bandaging are necessary to ensure optimal drainage and decongestion.
When lymphatic fluid accumulates in certain areas—for example, after previous surgeries—these swellings can often be relieved with lympho-venous anastomosis. During this procedure, small incisions are made at the affected sites. The lymphatic vessels are stained with a special blue dye to make them visible. Using an operating microscope, the lymphatic vessels are carefully exposed and then connected to nearby veins.
The procedure is performed as an inpatient surgery but is very gentle on patients, as the incisions are placed just under the skin (minimally invasive).
Arm liposuction is performed to remove excess fat and improve the contour of the arms. Many patients affected by lipedema experience increased fat deposits in the shoulders and upper arms, often requiring larger clothing sizes. Fat accumulations on the underside of the upper arms can also limit mobility and increase perspiration in the armpit area.
The procedure follows the principles of individualized precision medicine—a combination of conservative and surgical methods, followed by intensive postoperative therapy. This approach helps swelling and bruising resolve significantly faster.
For liposuction, I use the innovative Leonardo® DUAL 45 laser, which allows for precise, minimally invasive treatment without visible scarring. Using fine cannulas, excess fatty tissue is selectively loosened and removed exactly where it causes problems. At the same time, the laser energy tightens and firms the skin—resulting in long-lasting, natural results.
Through liposuction, fat deposits in the thighs, knees, and calves can be removed to achieve a slimmer leg contour. The most common form of fat accumulation is the so-called “saddlebag deformity,” where fat cells extend from the waistline down to the thighs.

Abdominal liposuction is a common method to reduce excess belly fat and improve body contour and silhouette.

A facelift essentially involves tightening the facial skin to achieve a younger and firmer appearance. The incision is placed near the hairline, runs toward the ear, and then continues slightly behind the earlobe. The skin is carefully lifted and repositioned outward and upward for a natural tightening effect.
Throughout the procedure, we take great care to avoid creating an unnatural look. The degree of tightening is always adapted to the patient’s age and individual facial features, ensuring a rejuvenated but authentic appearance.
Individual Consultation & Gentle Treatment
Every facial procedure is carefully planned following a personal consultation and in close alignment with your wishes.
We rely on minimally invasive techniques to achieve natural results while keeping recovery time as short as possible.

For many women, breast amputation following breast cancer can cause significant emotional distress. Fortunately, there are microsurgical techniques that allow reconstruction of the breast using the patient’s own tissue.
We perform what is known as the DIEP flap procedure (Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator). In this method, a flap of skin and blood vessels is taken from the lower abdomen. Under the microscope, the vessels of the flap are connected to the vessels in the chest, and the tissue is shaped and sutured to achieve symmetry with the other side.
The scars from this procedure can be concealed in the bikini line of the lower abdomen.
After breast surgery—such as a mastectomy performed as part of breast cancer treatment, or in cases of congenital malformation—it may be necessary to reconstruct the nipple and areola.
There are various techniques available for this reconstruction, and the choice of method depends on several factors, including the condition of the tissue and the type of previous breast surgery.
All of these methods are minimally invasive, cause little discomfort, and usually do not require a long recovery period.
Breast reconstruction with implants can be performed after a mastectomy due to breast cancer, to restore breast volume, or as a treatment option for women with severely flattened or asymmetric breasts.
Breast implants are specially designed prosthetics made of silicone or saline solution. They are inserted into the breast to achieve an aesthetic and natural appearance.
Before surgery, we will have a thorough consultation with you to discuss your wishes and expectations, in order to determine the best possible solution for you and your body. The choice of implant size and type depends on many factors, including your individual anatomy. Implants can be placed either beneath the chest muscle (submuscular) or above the chest muscle (subglandular).
As with breast reconstruction using the DIEP flap, refinements such as nipple and areola reconstruction can be performed in an additional, smaller procedure.
One of the often underestimated reasons for breast surgery is the reduction of excessively large breasts. Besides causing back pain, this condition can also lead to skin rashes and infections in the breast fold.
In this procedure, the breast is reduced to the desired size in consultation with the patient. The surgery is performed as an inpatient procedure.
Women who have experienced significant weight loss or pregnancy often struggle with sagging breasts. This condition is not only associated with back pain, but in summer can also cause infections and unpleasant odors in the breast fold. A breast lift can provide tremendous relief for these patients.
Before surgery, the degree of lifting desired is thoroughly discussed with the patient. During the procedure, the breast tissue is carefully reshaped, repositioned upward, and sutured according to the patient’s wishes. After surgery, a supportive bra must be worn to relieve strain and help the breast maintain its new shape.
A breast lift can also be performed on men following significant weight loss.
A lymph node transplantation involves the removal of healthy lymph node tissue, including its artery and vein, from one part of the body. The lymph node tissue is then reconnected to the circulatory system in an area affected by lymphedema, such as the armpit or groin. By restoring lymphatic drainage, the formation of further swelling is prevented.
The procedure is performed as an inpatient surgery. After the operation, additional measures such as elevating the affected area and/or applying bandages are necessary to ensure optimal drainage and decongestion.
During abdominoplasty, the incision is individually adapted to the patient’s body shape to achieve the best possible result. Scars are placed as discreetly as possible and, whenever feasible, hidden within the bikini line.
After surgery, a compression belt must be worn to support healing and ensure optimal results.
Excess skin on the inner thighs can often cause chafing while walking and lead to skin infections. A thigh lift removes this excess skin through carefully planned incisions, while taking care not to damage the underlying lymphatic vessels.
The scars are placed on the inner or back side of the thighs, ensuring that the front view of the legs maintains a natural appearance.
